Florida Medicaid Long-Term Care — FundingDependency.com

Two programs, one eligibility test

Florida doesn't have a single "long-term care Medicaid" program — it has two delivery pathways that share the same financial and medical eligibility rules. The Institutional Care Program (ICP) pays for care in a licensed nursing facility. The Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Long-Term Care program (SMMC LTC) is the managed-care system that actually delivers benefits, including home and community-based services such as in-home aides, adult day care, and assisted living services, as well as nursing facility care (AHCA, SMMC Long-Term Care Program).
